O R D E R

This is an application seeking anticipatory bail in the FIR No. 116/2024 dated 11.10.2024 registered under Sections 319/318(4) of BNS, 2023 at PS Cyber Shahdara.

The complainant in the FIR had alleged that the petitioner had cheated him to the tune of Rs.5,85,000.

Since the petitioner had paid a sum of Rs. 1.5 lakhs to the complainant, interim protection was granted to him on 24.12.2024. 4.

Mr. Rana, learned counsel for the petitioner has handed over a certified copy of the settlement dated 03.03.2025 before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Karkardooma Court, Delhi, wherein the complainant has agreed to settle the claims for a sum of Rs. 6.15 lakhs out of which Rs. 1.5 lakhs had been paid earlier, Rs. 1 lakh has been paid on 03.03.2025 and the balance amount of Rs. 3.65 lakhs is to be paid in installments.

accordance with law.

For the said reasons, the present petition is allowed and the in the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail on the following terms and conditions:- (i)The petitioner shall furnish a personal bond in the sum of Rs 10,000 (Rupees ten thousand only) each with 1 surety in the like amount, to the satisfaction of the concerned trial court.

(ii) At the time of furnishing bail bond, the petitioner shall provide the mobile number, which he undertakes to keep operational at all times during the pendency of the trial. (iii) The petitioner shall inform the concerned Investigating Officer about his current residential address. (iv) In case of change of residential addresses/contact details, the petitioner shall promptly inform the same to the concerned Investigating Officer/SHO.

(v) The petitioner shall join the investigation as and when asked.

In case there is any non-compliance of the settlement dated 03.03.2025, the complainant will be at liberty to seek modification of the orders passed by this Court.

The petition is hence, disposed of in the aforesaid terms. 9.

The certified copy of the settlement handed over in Court today is taken on record.
