By way of present petition, the petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of the petition under Section 125 of Cr.PC filed by the respondent against the petitioner titled 'Sanyogita Gupta & Ors. v. Ashok Kumar Gupta bearing CC No.66/2016, pending before the Family Court, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi.

It has been informed that the aforesaid matter is currently pending at the stage of Prosecution Evidence (PE).

The grievance raised by the petitioner before this court is that the respondent has taken about 50 adjournments at the stage of PE. 4.

The petitioner is permitted to make an appropriate request before the Trial Court which shall be considered in accordance with law, considering that the matter pertains to the year 2016.

The petition is disposed of in above terms along with pending application.
