This petition has been filed seeking quashing of FIR No. 396/2019 dated 24th September 2019 registered at PS Swaroop Nagar, Delhi under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC basis settlement arrived at between the parties dated 20th July 2024, which is on record of this Court. 2.
As per the settlement, petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 have settled their marital discord and are now living together as a married couple in peace and harmony. Respondent no.2 states that she has no objection to the FIR being quashed.

Petitioner nos. 1 to 3 and respondent no. 2 are present in Court, duly identified by the IO and respective counsel.

continuing with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. 5.
Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, the FIR No. 396/2019 dated 24th September 2019 registered at PS Swaroop Nagar, Delhi under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Parties shall abide by the terms of settlement. 7.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Pending applications (if any) are disposed of as infructuous.
