This petition has been filed seeking quashing of FIR No.68/2021, registered at P.S. Gandhi Nagar, under Sections 509/354C IPC on the basis of settlement arrived at between the parties dated 24th July, 2024, which is on record of this Court.

Petitioner and respondent No.2 are present in Court, duly identified by I.O. and respective counsel.

Respondent No.2 states that the petitioner had approached her to amicably resolve the issue and she has agreed to the same in order to move The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The petitioner undertakes to perform community service at Gurudwara, Geeta Colony, Block-7 on every Sunday for three hours, for a month. He shall file affidavit of compliance along with the certificate of Chief Priest of the Gurudwara confirming that he has performed this community service /seva. Subject to this compliance, the FIR is being quashed.

Considering the above settlement between the parties and the chances of conviction of the petitioners being remote and bleak, there is no use continuing with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, the FIR No.68/2021 under Sections 509/354C IPC registered at P.S. Gandhi Nagar and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Parties shall abide by the terms of settlement. 7.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Pending applications (if any) are disposed of as infructuous.
