Learned counsel for the petitioners, after some arguments, seeks permission to withdraw the petitions, with a direction to the Trial Court to expedite the proceedings and preferably conclude the same within a period of 1 1⁄2 years. 2.

Accordingly, the petitions are dismissed as withdrawn. All the pending applications are also dismissed as withdrawn. In view of the above, the Trial Court is directed to expedite the proceedings and decide the matter as expeditiously as possible, preferably within 11⁄2 years and submit a report after 11⁄2 years in the Registry of this Court. In case the matter is not decided within the span of 11⁄2 years, the Trial Court is directed to submit a report of the matters after every six months in the Registry thereafter.
