The present petition, filed under Section 29A (4) of Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeks extension of time for completion of the arbitral proceedings and making of the arbitral award. 4.

The disputes have arisen between the parties in context of a Concession Agreement dated 04.10.2018 to manage food and beverages outlets at the Srinagar International Airport. 5.

Upon reference being received from the petitioner under Rule 4 of the DIAC (Arbitration Proceedings) Rules, 2018, learned Sole Arbitrator was appointed by the Delhi International Arbitration Centre (DIAC) on 16.07.2022 to adjudicate the disputes between the parties. 6.

Respective counsel for the parties submits that the final arguments have been concluded and the matter is pending before the learned Sole The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Arbitrator for passing of the award. Since the mandate of the learned Sole Arbitrator is expiring on 28.12.2024, it is requested that given the nature of the matter, a suitable extension of time be granted for making of the arbitral award.

In the circumstances, as jointly prayed, the time period for completion rendering of the arbitral award is extended till 30.04.2025. 8.

The petition is allowed in the above terms.
