This is a petition under Section 29-A(4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('Act of 1996') seeking extension of mandate of the Sole Arbitrator by a period of six (6) months w.e.f. 05.12.2024 for completion of arbitral proceedings and passing of the arbitral award. 4.

their submissions on the next hearing before the Sole Arbitrator i.e., 14.01.2025.

Having considered the averments made in the petition, the petition is allowed and the mandate of the Sole Arbitrator for completion of arbitral proceedings and passing of the arbitral award is extended w.e.f 05.12.2024 until 30.04.2025.

The parties are directed to cooperate in the expeditious disposal of the arbitral proceedings by 30.04.2025 and not seek any unnecessary adjournments.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of, along with the pending applications, if any.
