The instant petition under Section 29A(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, has been filed on behalf of the petitioner, seeking the following relief:
"(a) Allow the present petition and grant further extension for the period of 6 months from 29.11.2024 to 29.05.2025 in continuation of order dated 09.08.2024 in the first Reference for making the Award;"

Having heard the learned counsels for both the parties and for the reasons stated in the petition, as well as in view of the no objection given by the respondent, this Court is inclined to extend the mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal by a period of six months, from 29.11.2024 to 29.05.2025. 7.
The petition is accordingly disposed of in the above terms. 8.
