By way of this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution, the petitioner has assailed an order dated 09.01.2023 of the Disciplinary Authority of the respondent - Bank of Baroda ["Bank"], by which he was removed from service. However, it is clear from the writ petition itself that the petitioner has already availed the appellate remedy against the said order by filing an appeal on 07.09.2024. By way of the present application, the petitioner seeks a direction upon the Bank for expeditious disposal of the said appeal.

As the petitioner has challenged the same disciplinary order in this writ petition, no further orders are called for in this writ petition. The writ petition is, therefore, taken on Board with the consent of learned counsel for the parties, and is disposed of in terms of the above directions. 4.
