The present writ petition impugns order dated 26th November, 2024 passed under proceedings initiated for Petitioner's eviction under Section 5 of the Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1971. 2.

Under Section 9 of the aforesaid Act, there is a statutory appeal remedy from every order passed by the Estate Officer in respect to any public premises under Section 5 of the Act.

In light of the foregoing, since there is an adequate alternate statutory remedy available with the Petitioner, the Court is not inclined to entertain the present writ petition.
