Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973/Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (hereinafter referred to as „B.N.S.S.‟), has been filed on behalf of the Petitioners, for quashing of the FIR No. 0219/2021 under Section 498A/406/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860/86/316(2)/3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, registered at Police Station Mehrauli, District South, New Delhi and the proceedings arising out thereof, on merits.

It is submitted that the investigations are all held up as the Petitioner No. 1, Sumeet Sahdev, is in Sweden and has not come forth to join the investigations.

Considering the conduct of the Petitioners, since the investigations itself had been stalled, no case is made out for quashing on merits. The Petition is dismissed and disposed of accordingly.
