The present application under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (hereafter „BNSS‟) has been filed on behalf of the applicant seeking grant of interim bail in case arising out of FIR bearing no. 56/2024 dated 18.01.2024, registered at Police Station Wazirabad, Delhi for the offences punishable under Section 392/394/395/307/34/506/147/148/149 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (hereafter „IPC‟) and Section 25/27 of the Arms Act, 1959.

Admittedly, the applicant had been referred to All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi (AIIMS), wherein he had undergone various tests. The report from the Chief Medical Officer reads as under: "At present, despite treatment from the jail dispensary and outside referral hospitals, the blood pressure levels of the aforementioned inmate/patient remain uncontrolled and significantly high. He is on medication."

Considering the same and considering the fact that despite treatment from the Jail dispensary and outside referral hospitals, his blood pressure levels had remain uncontrolled and significantly high, this Court finds it appropriate to release the present accused/applicant, on interim bail, on medical ground, for a period of 01 month, from the date of his release, subject to the following conditions:

i. The applicant shall furnish a personal bond in the sum of Rs.10,000/- with one surety of the like amount, to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent concerned. ii. The applicant shall furnish the address where he shall reside during the period of bail to the Jail Superintendent, as well as the details of local Police Station in that area. iii. The applicant shall report to the SHO of the local area once a week on every Sunday between 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, during the period of his interim bail.
