The present writ petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed by the petitioners seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus seeking directions to respondent nos.1 to 3 for protection of the lives of the petitioners from respondent no.4.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that he has filed a writ petition of Habeas Corpus after mentioning the same today, which is also listed today itself. In view of the aforesaid, he seeks permission to withdraw the present writ petition, as the same has become infructuous. 3.
Accordingly, the present writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn being infructuous.
