This petition is filed challenging the order dated 24.11.2025 passed by learned Principal Judge, Family Court (South-East), Saket, New Delhi. 2.
The two issues in controversy are that the right of the petitioner to cross-examine the witnesses has been restricted till 25.12.2025 and that the petitioner/wife was to bear 50% of the travelling expenses of the respondent/husband and her in-laws.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since the affidavit filed is lengthy, the cross-examination would be positively finished before 31.01.2026.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed of. The entire crossexamination shall be positively finished by 31.01.2026 and the parties shall bear their own costs for travelling.

The learned Family Court shall ensure that if need be the Local Commissioner will continue with the proceedings on day-to-day basis excluding the winter vacations.
