This is a petition filed under Section 29A (4) & (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the learned Sole Arbitrator by a period of 12 months. 2.
It is stated by learned counsel for the petitioner that on account of various applications moved during the pendency, the proceedings were delayed.

Despite opportunity, no reply has been filed by any of the respondents. 4.
I am of the view that sufficient cause has been explained for the delay. 5.
For the said reasons, the petition is allowed and the mandate of the learned Sole Arbitrator is extended by a period of 12 months from today.

The period from 23.12.2024 till today stands regularised on account of the pendency of the proceedings.
