Grievance of the petitioner is limited to the extent that her application for interim maintenance in a petition under Section 12 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act is pending before the learned Metropolitan Magistrate since 16th July, 2016 and till date, has not been decided.

Learned counsel for respondent No.2 enters appearance on a notice being received. According to learned counsel for respondent No.2, respondent No.2 has taken an objection qua maintainability of the said application and the petition and hence, arguments have been advanced thereon and the matter is listed on 19th May, 2018 for orders. W.P.(CRL) 980/2018

The present petition and application are disposed of with the expectation that the learned Metropolitan Magistrate would pronounce the order on 19th May, 2018. If, for any reason, the order is not pronounced on that day, learned Metropolitan Magistrate is directed to pronounce the order within two months from the said date.
