Through the present petition, the petitioner seeks his release on 1st Spell of furlough for a period of three weeks. 4.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner prays that the present petition may be treated as representation by the concerned Jail Superintendent/Jail Authority and the concerned Jail Superintendent/Jail Authority shall decide the same in accordance with law. 5.

Learned SC for State has no objection to the prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 7.

After perusal of the record, contentions made in the petition as well as the prayer made on behalf of the petitioner and no objection from the respondent, this Court is inclined to allow the prayer made on behalf of the petitioner.

Accordingly, the concerned Jail Superintendent/Jail Authority is directed to treat this writ petition as a representation and shall decide the same within a period of two week.

With the aforesaid directions, the present petition is disposed of along with pending applications, if any.
