This hearing has been done through hybrid mode. 2.

The present petition has been filed by the Petitioner-Vinod Pal Singh under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 BNSS and Section 482 Cr.P.C. inter alia seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of habeas corpus for production of his 14 year old daughter who went missing on 11th September, 2024.

According to the Petitioner, on 11th September, 2024, his daughter had gone to school along with her younger sister at Sarvodaya Vidyalaya, Sector 4, Rohini, New Delhi. However, thereafter, she could not be found. Subsequently, FIR no. 0387/2024 was registered with the P.S. Vijay Vihar on 11th September, 2024.

On 7th January, 2025 the Court directed the concerned police officials to continue its investigation and take steps to produce the girl. The Court on the said date also directed the Telecom companies and online platforms, to diligently provide information to the Investigating Agency. 6.

On the last date of hearing i.e. 3rd February, 2025 further time was sought by the ld. Standing Counsel to trace the girl. Accordingly, the matter was listed for hearing today.

Today, the matter has been taken up and the girl has been produced. 8.

A Status Report dated 3rd March, 2025 authored by SHO P.S. Vijay Vihar has been handed over in Court. The same has been taken on record. 9.

As per the said Status Report, the girl has been recovered from District Begusarai, Bihar from the house of the suspect Mr. Ajneesh Paswan. Further, in a statement of the girl recorded on 1st March, 2025 under Section 183 BNSS, the girl has stated that she left the home voluntarily and thereafter, married the boy, Ajnish Paswan and made physical relations with him. The girl today has now made allegations against the boy and he is stated to be absconding.

Be that as it may, the girl would now like to accompany her parents. The girl being a minor, shall accompany her parents. 13.
