This writ petition is preferred on behalf of the Petitioner laying a challenge to impugned communication dated 22.11.2024 issued by Respondent No. 2, whereby Petitioner's representation dated 28.10.2024 for voting right in the upcoming elections of Delhi Bar Association has been rejected. Direction is sought to the Respondents to allow the Petitioner to participate in the Bar Association Elections, accepting the cash payment as a valid mode of payment since the Petitioner has already deposited the subscription amount on 12.04.2024.

Union of India and Others, 2024 Supreme Court OnLine Del 1901 in paragraph 35 that subscription shall be paid by the concerned Advocate from his/her own bank account or his own electronic payment platform and cash deposit shall not be accepted, learned counsel for the Petitioner, at the outset, seeks liberty to withdraw this writ petition to approach the Full Bench for appropriate directions.
