The petitioner has filed the present petition inter alia praying as under:- "It is, therefore, most humbly and respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to:- (i) Issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the Respondent Nos.1 to 4 preserve the evidences relating to the scam of the embezzlement of the public The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

(ii) Issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the Respondent Nos.1 to4 to transfer the enquiry and further prosecution from P.S.-Anti-Corruption Branch, Govt. of N.C.T. of Delhi to P.S.-Vigilance Unit, Delhi Police and also to complete the same within a time bound period. (iii) Issue such other or further appropriate Writ, Order or Direction as this Hon'b1e Court deems fit and proper, in the interest of justice." 4.

The petitioner has referred to a newspaper report published on 29.11.2024 in Dainik Bhaskar, which indicates that the Irrigation and Food Control Department, Govt. of NCT of Delhi had awarded contracts for supplying, installation and commissioning of 100 number of water coolers with RO+UV systems in Sangam Vihar Assembly Constituency. It is alleged that the contractor who was awarded the said contract had received a sum of ₹36.62/- Lacs without installation of the water coolers. It is pointed out that the report indicates that a large number of water coolers had been installed in the same premises, which would obviously be incorrect. 5.

It is the petitioner's case that there has been a large scale embezzlement of public funds on the pretext of ordering water coolers. It is in the aforesaid context that the petitioner prays that directions be issued to respondent nos. 1 to 4 to preserve the evidence relating to the said matter. 6.

The learned counsel appearing for the respondent no.4 submits that a report has already been submitted by the Directorate of Vigilance to the Lieutenant Governor for sending the matter to Anti Corruption Bureau for an appropriate action. He submits that the authorities are investigating the allegations and necessary steps would be taken in accordance with law, if The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

In view of the above, no orders are required to be passed in the present petition. The same is disposed of.
