The petitioners have filed this petition as a Public Interest Litigation (hereafter the PIL), inter alia, praying that directions be issued to the respondents to immediately construct the Foot Over Bridge (hereafter FOB) at the Rajputana Rifles Regimental Centre (RRRC) Mandir Gate 2, Delhi Cantonment, Ring Road, Near Metro Pillar No. 65 in Delhi Cantonment area.

We are not persuaded to accept that any specific directions are required to be given to the authorities for constructing any FOB at the spot. The question as to whether a FOB is required to be constructed is a matter for consideration of the concerned authorities. 3.
