The present petition has been filed under Section 482 BNSS, 2023 seeking anticipatory bail in connection with FIR No. 229/2023 under Sections 406/420/468/471/120B/34 IPC registered at Police Station Adarsh Nagar. 2.
This Court while issuing notice in the present petition vide order dated 09.01.2025 had directed that no coercive action be taken against the present petitioner till the next date subject to his joining investigation, as and when required by the I.O concerned.

Further, the State was also directed to file its Status Report. The status report is handed over at Bar and the same is taken on record. 4.
The case of the prosecution in brief is that the complainant registered the present FIR mentioning an incident that happened in the year 2014 alleging that he had imported a bike Make Honda GL 1800 BDE in 2014 and he handed over the said imported bike bearing Registration No. DL 3S AW 0700 to one of his known persons namely Neeraj Sharma of Hyderabad and his associate Ganesh R (petitioner herein) of Bangalore for sale purpose. Subsequently, he came to know in the year 2022 about the fraud committed by the alleged persons on his name as they had appended the complainant's forged signatures on transfer documents.

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the present FIR is a counterblast to the FIR registered at the instance of the present petitioner i.e. FIR No. 0202/2020 under Sections 34/120B/406/420 IPC registered at Police Station Halasur Sub-Division, Bengaluru City. In support of his contention, he has invited attention of the Court to the said FIR which has been annexed as Annexure P-1 to the present petition. 6.
A perusal of the said FIR shows that the same was registered as early as on 03.11.2020 at the instance of the present petitioner inter alia against the complainant herein.

The said FIR is prior to the registration of present FIR which prima facie gives an impression that the present FIR is a counterblast to the FIR registered at the instance of the petitioner, all the more for the reason that present FIR has been registered after 09 years 8.
On a query posed by the Court, the learned APP, on instructions from the I.O, who is present in Court, fairly states that the present petitioner had joined investigation and has also cooperated in the investigation. He further states that the custody of the petitioner is not required. 9.
In view of the above, it is directed that in the event of petitioner's arrest, he be released on bail subject to his furnishing personal bond in the sum of Rs. 20,000/- and a surety bond of the like amount to the satisfaction of the Investigating Officer / Arresting Officer and further subject to the following conditions that:- (i) Petitioners shall join investigation as and when directed by the I.O The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
