The petitioner seeks regular bail under Section 439 Cr.P.C. in case FIR No.787/2017 under Section 376 IPC registered at Police Station Mukharjee Nagar. Status report not filed. 2.

I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and have examined the file.

The petitioner is in custody since 15.10.2017. Upon completion of investigation, charge-sheet has already been filed.

The petitioner and the prosecutrix were acquainted with each other prior to the incident. Physical relation took place between the two on several occasions on the alleged promise to marry. When BAIL APPLN. 759/2018

the marriage did not happen, the instant FIR was lodged. The prosecutrix is major.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is admitted to bail on his furnishing personal bond in the sum of `40,000/-with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Trial Court. It is further ordered that the petitioner shall not contact the prosecutrix and other witnesses; he shall not criminally intimidate them in any manner, whatsoever.

The bail application and all other pending application(s) stand disposed of.
