By way of the present petition, the petitioners seek quashing of the FIR bearing No. 391/2013, registered at Police Station Kalyanpuri, Delhi, for the commission of offences punishable under Sections 323/341/354/451/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (hereafter 'IPC'). 2.

Issue notice. The learned APP accepts notice on behalf of the State. 3.

All the petitioners and respondent nos. 2 to 5 are present before this Court and have been identified by their counsel and Investigating Officer (IO) concerned, Police Station, Kalyanpuri, Delhi. 4.

Brief facts of the case are that on 22.06.2013 a fight had broken out between the petitioners and respondents due to which various disputes and issues had arisen between the petitioners and the respondents. against the petitioners and the cross FIR with similar nature was also registered by the petitioners against the respondents. It is stated that with intervention of the family and friends, the parties have now amicably settled their disputes.

On a query made by this Court, respondent nos. 2 to 5 who have been identified by the IO, have categorically stated that they have entered into compromise out of their own free will and without any pressure, coercion or threat. Therefore, they have no objection if the present FIR is quashed. 6.

In view of the above, that the parties have amicably resolved their differences out of their own free will, and without any coercion, no useful purpose will be served by continuing the proceedings, rather the same would create further acrimony between them. It would thus be in interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto. There is no legal impediment in quashing the FIR in question. 7.

Accordingly, FIR bearing No. 391/2013, registered at Police Station Kalyanpuri, Delhi, for the commission of offences punishable under Sections 323/341/354/451/506/34 of IPC and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed subject to all petitioners and respondent nos. 2 to 5 depositing a sum of Rs. 10,000/- each with the Delhi High Court Bar Association Advocates' Welfare Fund and the compliance report of the same be also filed with the Registry of this Court. 8.

The petition stands disposed of.
