During the pendency of the present appeal, the Appellant has deceased, a fact which has been brought to the notice of this Court in the report filed by the Superintendent of Jail, Tihar, New Delhi, wherein it has been stated that the Appellant was admitted in a hospital due to a medical emergency at 6:10 AM on 17th March, 2025 and was subsequently declared dead by the doctor at 2:30 PM.

In light of the above development, the present appeal which was only against the order of sentence, stands abated on account of the death of the Appellant.
