This application has been filed on behalf of the respondent-MCD seeking condonation of delay of 109 days in filing status report. 2.

For the reasons stated, the application is allowed and the delay of 109 days in filing status report is condoned.

In the said status report, it has been stated that after following due process of law, a demolition order has been passed on 29th December, 2025. Aggrieved by the said demolition order, the owner/occupier of the subject property has filed an appeal before the Appellate Tribunal, MCD (ATMCD), wherein an interim stay has been granted in favour of the owner/occupier of the subject property.

Taking note of the aforesaid, the present writ petition is disposed of while directing the respondent-MCD to take appropriate action based on the outcome of the appeal filed by the ATMCD.
