The present appeal was filed by the appellant herein challenging the final order and judgment dated 20th March, 2010 passed by the learned ADJ, Tis Hazari District Courts, Delhi in Suit No. 132 of 2008, titled as "Ms. Kanta Devi Versus Pawan Kumar & Anr."

Vide order dated 07th December, 2011, this Court had allowed the respondent to withdraw the decretal amount along with accrued interest, on furnishing security to the satisfaction of the Registrar General of this Court. 3.

Thus, vide order dated 19th August, 2013, this Court had accepted the Security Bond (FDRs) furnished by the respondent and directed the Registry to release the decretal amount to the respondent. 4.

In terms of the order dated 07th December, 2011, passed by this Court, the details of the Security Bond (FDRs) furnished by the respondent, are as The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. "i. FDR/Abhyudhaya Cash Certificate, bearing No. 916047 dated 10.07.2013 for Rs. 1,50,000, with Maturity value of Rs. 1,98,801/-, issued by the Karnataka Bank Ltd., Janakpuri Branch, Delhi, in the name of the Respondent;

ii. FDR bearing No. 2200117 dated 22.03.2013 for Rs. 30,000/-, with Maturity value of Rs. 32,825/-, issued by the UCO Bank, Janakpuri Branch, Delhi, in the name of Mrs. Meenakshi Gauri." 5.

Since vide order dated 17th December, 2024, the present appeal was dismissed, the present application has been filed on behalf of the respondent under Section 151 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 ("CPC"), for release of the FDRs, along with accrued interest.

The present application was listed for hearing on 10th February, 2025, wherein, notice was issued to the appellant.

Learned counsel for the appellant has put in appearance today and has submitted that he has no objection to the release of FDRs, along with interest deposited as security, pursuant to the order dated 07th December, 2011.

Accordingly, the Registry of this Court is directed to release the FDRs along with interest, as aforesaid, in favour of the respondent, upon the respondent making an application with the Registry of this Court, in this regard.

With the aforesaid directions, the present application is accordingly disposed of.
