The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying as under:

The learned counsel appearing for the respondent/LAC states that the compensation payable to the petitioner under Section 28A of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 in respect of subject lands has also been determined. 7.

Further, in terms of the order dated 31.03.2022, directions have also been issued by the LAC to raise the demand for compensation so that the same can be disbursed to the petitioner in terms of the judgment dated 01.11.2006 passed by the concerned court.

The petitioner's grievance is that despite the order under Section 28A of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 being passed in its favour, the amount has not been disbursed.

Mr Pathak states that the accounts between the DDA and LAC are being reconciled and the amounts as due to the petitioner in terms of the order dated 31.03.2022 would be disbursed shortly. 10.

In view of the above, we dispose of the present petition by directing The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

the LAC to disburse the amount due to the petitioner along with all other statutory benefits as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of twelve weeks from date.
