The learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is in custody for last more than four years. He submits that the applicant will be satisfied if the trial is expedited. 2.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State submits that the public witnesses have already been examined and that he is hopeful that the police witnesses would be examined within a period of 6 - 8 months.

Considering the above, the learned counsel for the applicant seeks liberty to withdraw the present application and file afresh if the trial is not concluded expeditiously. 4.

The application is dismissed as withdrawn.

The learned Trial Court is requested to expedite the recording of the evidence and make endeavour to complete the trial within a period of 8 to 10 months.
