O R D E R
% 09.03.2019 These are two cross appeals, arising out of the common award. Parties have mutually arrived at a settlement and there-under, they have agreed that in addition to the 50% of the award amount inclusive of the interest already deposited before the concerned Tribunal, the claimants shall also get Rs. 5,50,000/- (Rupees Five Lakh Fifty Thousand only) over and above towards full and final settlement.
It is mutually agreed that the insurance company shall deposit the settled amount of Rs.5,50,000/- by way cheque/demand draft with DHCLSC, within four weeks from today, failing which, it shall carry interest @ 9% per annum on the delayed deposit. The amount already deposited shall be released inconsonance with the impugned Award. Consequently, the appeals shall stand disposed of accordingly. The statutory amount of Rs.25,000/- deposited for entertainment of the appeal alongwith interest, if any, shall be refunded to the insurance company.
