Applicant seeks anticipatory bail in a case arising out of FIR No.0701/2025 dated 19.07.2025, for commission of offences under Sections 20 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act, 1985 (NDPS Act), registered at P.S. Jahangir Puri.

As per the prosecution's story, on the basis of secret information, one Mr. Surender Sahni was apprehend on 19.07.2025 and from his possession intermediary quantity of Ganja was recovered. 3.

During the interrogation, he disclosed that such Ganja was procured by him from Mr. Akhilesh Sahni (applicant herein). 4.

However, the police could not catch hold of the applicant as he was found evading arrest. against him.

Learned APP for the State has submitted a status report and the same is taken on record. As per such status report, the applicant has already joined the investigation and has, rather, revealed that he had obtained the abovesaid contraband i.e. Ganja from one Raghav Singh of Hajipur, Bihar. 6.

Fact remains that the applicant's name is appearing only in the disclosure statement made by his co-accused, who is already on regular bail. 7.

Admittedly, there are call records between the applicant and the main accused-Surender Sahni but fact remains that since the applicant has joined the investigation and there is no conscious recovery from his possession, the interim order dated 19.12.2025 is, hereby, made absolute and the application is disposed of with the direction that in the event of his arrest, he be released on his furnishing personal bond in a sum of Rs. 25,000/- with one surety of like amount, subject to the satisfaction of concerned SHO/arresting officer.
