% 25.04.2018 By this petition the petitioner seeks parole on the ground that she has to maintain social ties and also challenges communication dated 8th March, 2018 whereby her application for grant of parole has been rejected. On a notice being issued, a Status Report has been filed. As per the Status Report, the petitioner's husband and son were found residing at House No.10593, 3rd Floor, Motia Khan, Paharganj, New Delhi. A perusal of the Nominal Roll reveals that the petitioner has been getting regular parole and furlough however, the last parole granted to the petitioner was for a period of 30 days w.e.f. the date of her release i.e. 1st June, 2017 when she surrendered on 2nd July, 2017. There is no allegation that the petitioner misused the concession of parole/furlough granted to her. W.P.(CRL) 1007/2018
Considering the verification report and the Nominal Roll this Court deems it fit to grant parole to the petitioner. It is, therefore, directed that the petitioner be released on parole for a period of four weeks from the date of her release on her furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹5,000/- with one surety of the like amount, subject to the satisfaction of the Superintendent, Tihar Jail. Petition is disposed of.
A copy of this order be communicated to the petitioner through Superintendent, Tihar Jail.
