CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK

O R D E R

% 11.12.2018 Respondent nos.2 and 3 are present in Court and have been identified by SI Gaurav Dalal of police station Mehrauli. Petitioners have paid cost of `5,000/- to each of the respondent nos. 2 and 3. Respondent nos. 2 and 3 submit that they have settled the matter with petitioners of their own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. Respondent nos. 2 and 3 say that they have no objection in case FIR No. 38/2013 under Sections 323/354/509/34 IPC registered at Police

Station Mehrauli and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent nos. 2 and 3 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.

A.K. PATHAK, J.
