The present writ petition has been filed seeking directions to the respondent-Municipal Corporation of Delhi ("MCD"), to take action against the ongoing unauthorized construction in two plots at Lane No. 5, A Block, Vasant Kunj Enclave, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, which are described as properties situated opposite to Plot Nos. A-101 and 102, A Block, Gali No. 5 Vasant Kunj, New Delhi-110070.

Issue notice. Notice is accepted by learned counsels appearing for the respondents.

construction was found to be going on. Thus, Show Cause Notice dated 08th December, 2025, has already been issued. Further, Work Stop Notice dated 10th December, 2025, has also been issued to the Station House Officer ("SHO"), Police Station-Vasant Kunj (South).

She has handed over copy of documents in that regard, which are taken on record.

Accordingly, considering the submissions made before this Court, it is directed that the MCD shall ensure that action against the unauthorized construction existing in the property is taken after following the due procedure, and in accordance with law.

Further, SHO, Police Station-Vasant Kunj (South), is directed to ensure that no further unauthorized construction takes place in the property in question and that the same is stopped forthwith. 7.

In case, any party is aggrieved by any action or non-action on the part of the MCD, their right to seek legal remedies is reserved. 8.

With the aforesaid directions, the present writ petition, along with the pending application, is accordingly disposed of.
