order dated 24.09.2024 passed by the learned Appellate Tribunal under the SAFEMA at New Delhi (hereinafter, "the Tribunal"), dismissing the appeals filed by the appellants, that is, FPA-PMLA4599/DLI/2022 and FPA-PMLA-4600/DLI/2022, and confirming the attachment of the properties of the appellants. 2.

In our order dated 18.02.2026, we had recorded the submissions of the learned counsel for the appellants that, in view of the subsequent developments, especially the orders passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in W.P. (Crl.) 48/2020 titled Chetan Jayantilal & Ors. v. Central Bureau of Investigation & Ors., and by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-06, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi, in CC No. 32/2017 titled Directorate of Enforcement v. Gagan Dhawan & Ors., the properties can no longer be attached. The learned counsel for the respondent had prayed for time to seek instructions regarding the same.

Today, the learned counsel for the respondent hands over a copy of the e-mail dated 11.03.2026 received by him, which states that the respondent has already sent an e-mail dated 24.02.2026 to the concerned Sub-Registrar's office and Bank for releasing the attached movable/immovable properties. The learned counsel also hands over a copy of the said e-mail dated 24.02.2026. Let the same be taken on record.

In view of the above developments, the present appeals have been rendered infructuous and are accordingly disposed of, clarifying that the properties are no longer the subject matter of attachment in the present proceedings.
