Petition under Article 226 read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (hereinafter referred to as 'B.N.S.S.') read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (hereinafter referred to as 'Cr.PC'), has been filed on behalf of the Petitioner for directing the Respondents to take prompt appropriate action on the Complaint dated 07.09.2025, which was recorded vide DD No. 83A and to direct the Respondents to register the FIR.

The Petitioner is hereby seeking directions for registration of FIR on account of inaction of the Police to take action on her Complaint. However, there is an entire detailed mechanism provided under B.N.S.S. to the Petitioner for getting the FIR registered in case no action is being taken by the Police on the Complaint.
