The petitioner has filed the present petition, as a public interest litigation, inter alia, praying that the directions be issued to the respondent Nos.1 & 2 to immediately investigate and to take proper action against the unauthorised constructions. The petitioner states that he has also made representations to the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), which are annexed with the present petition.

In view of the averments made in the present petition, we direct the MCD to consider the petitioner's representations and if it is found that unauthorised construction has been raised as alleged, the MCD shall take steps as required in accordance with law.
