On 28.04.2026, the following order was passed: "1. Learned counsel representing the Respondents has produced a copy of the Order dated 23.04.2026, sanctioning the ex-gratia Lump Sum Compensation amounting to Rs.10 lakhs payable to the Petitioner. Learned counsel further submits that the Petitioner's case for grant of Disability Pension has been recommended to the Ministry of Home Affairs and the final decision in this regard will be taken within a period of two weeks.

Admittedly, with respect to the disability pension, the Petitioner's case has already been recommended to the Ministry of Home Affairs, which is pending final approval. 3.

In these circumstances, Ministry of Home Affairs is directed to take a final decision within a period of four weeks from today. 4.
