W.P.(CRL) 938/2016 The present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Cr.P.C.) seeks a direction to the police to expedite the investigation in case FIR No.0046/2016, under Section 365 IPC, Police Station- Krishna Nagar, Delhi. Mr. Kundu, learned Additional Standing Counsel (Criminal) appearing on behalf of the official respondent, on instructions from the IO in the subject FIR namely, SI Pawan Singh, Police Station- Krishna Nagar states that they shall comply with the mandate of Section 173 of Cr.P.C. and conduct an expeditious and efficient investigation into the subject FIR. Directed accordingly.
