The present writ petition was disposed of vide order dated 31st January, 2025, noting the statement of the respondent no.1 that a hearing has been scheduled for 17th February, 2025. However, the hearing never took place on 17th February, 2025 and was adjourned by the respondent no.1. 2.

Pursuant to the representations made by the petitioner, another hearing was fixed for 8th April, 2025. However, the said hearing was also adjourned by the respondent no.1. Subsequently, a hearing was held on 16th April, 2025.

However, no order has been passed pursuant to the said hearing.

By way of the present petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondent no.1 to expeditiously hold a hearing in respect of TM no.5052783 in class 3 for the trademark 'URBANZEN' and pass a speaking order pursuant to the same.

Counsel appearing on behalf of respondent no.1 on advance notice submits that a hearing has been scheduled for 9th June, 2025. 5.

In view of the aforesaid, it is directed that the respondent no.1 shall conduct a hearing on 9th June, 2025 and pass an appropriate speaking order after the hearing in an expeditious manner.
