By way of present application, the petitioner/applicant seeks condonation of delay of 70 days and 60 days in filing and re-filing the petition, respectively.

For the reasons stated in the application, the same is allowed and the delay of 70 days and 60 days in filing and re-filing the petition, respectively, is condoned.

Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, the petitioner seeks extension of the Arbitral Tribunal till 31.03.2025 for concluding the Arbitral proceedings and passing the Award.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal has expired on 06.06.2024. He further submits that the mandate was previously extended on 19.12.2023 for a period of six months. 3.

Issue notice.

Learned counsel for the respondents accepts notice and submits that the respondents have no objection to the prayer made in the petition. 5.

At this stage, learned counsels for the parties submit that the matter is at the stage of respondent's evidence.

Considering the aforesaid request and the no objection given by the other side, the present petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended for a period of 10 months with effect from 06.06.2024. It is further observed that any proceedings conducted after the expiry of the mandate shall also stand validated and regularised. 7.

The parties shall appear before the learned Sole Arbitrator on 27.01.2025.
