By way of the present petition filed under Section 29A (4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, the petitioner seeks extension of mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of 18 months for concluding the Arbitral proceedings and passing the Award. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal has expired on 18.09.2024.

Learned counsels for the respondents accept notice and submit that they have no objection to the prayer made in the petition. 5.

Learned counsels for the parties jointly submit that the arbitral proceedings are at the stage of final arguments. Considering the aforesaid request and the no objection given by the other side, the present petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of nine months from 18.09.2024. Further, the proceedings held after 18.09.2024 are validated and regularised. 7.

The present petition is disposed of alongwith miscellaneous application.
