CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK

O R D E R

% 05.09.2018 Respondent no.2-Mohd. Naseem is present in Court and has been identified by SI Yogesh of police station Timarpur. Respondent no.2 says that he has settled the matter with petitioners of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion before Delhi Mediation Centre Tiz Hazari Courts vide Settlement / Agreement dated 3rd April, 2017. He further says that he has no objection in case FIR No.29/2012 under Sections 326/34 IPC registered at Police Station Timarpur and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed against the petitioners. Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and consequent

proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Dasti. A.K. PATHAK, J SEPTEMBER 05, 2018 sm
