The petitioner, who is the brother of respondent No.2, has made a representation dated 24.07.2024 to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, contending that respondent No.2 has been appointed to the service of the Ministry by concealment of relevant facts. 2.

Without going into the contentions as to the petitioner's locus to maintain a writ petition for initiation of departmental inquiry against respondent No.2, Mr. Avinash Singh, learned counsel for the Union of India ["UOI"], has taken instructions on the fate of the said representation. He has handed over to the Court an e-mail dated 22.01.2025 from the Under Secretary (Establishment), Ministry of Health W.P.(C) 803/2025 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. and Family Welfare, Government of India, which states that a FactFinding Committee has been constituted on 04.11.2024 to conduct a preliminary inquiry and suggest further action in the matter. The said copy of e-mail is taken on record. The Committee has also been requested to fast track the matter by a further Office Memorandum dated 18.12.2024. The report of the Committee is awaited. 3.

In view of the above, no further orders are sought in this writ petition, which stands disposed of, alongwith the pending applications. 4.

It is made clear that this order is passed without prejudice to the rights and contentions of the parties.
