O R D E R

% 21.05.2018 The status report has been submitted by the State along with the copy of the MLC of the injured which indicates that the injuries sustained by the injured are simple and that the injuries have been caused by a sharp object. The MLC on the records only opines the nature of the injuries. The State seeks to place reliance on the statement under Section 161 Cr.PC, 1973 of witnesses and the status report that has been submitted on behalf of the State indicates the allegations that have been put forth by the applicant. In reply to a specific Court query, it has further been submitted by the State that there are no previous adverse antecedents against the applicants. Taking the totality of the circumstances of the case into account, the applicants are allowed to be released on bail in the event of arrest on furnishing a bail bond of Rs.1 lakh each with one surety

of the like amount to the satisfaction of the learned trial Court with directions that they shall not leave the country, shall join the investigation, shall not intimidate the witnesses and shall not tamper with the evidence.
