The petitioner is aggrieved that his application under Section 156(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 ('CrPC') has not been decided, though was filed almost five years ago. 2.

The order sheets filed along with the petition indicate that the concerned Investigating Officer has not been cooperating and the application has been pending without any fault attributable to the Petitioner.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with the directions to the learned Trial Court to expeditiously decide the application filed by the petitioner under Section 156(3) CrPC, without granting unwarranted adjournment to the concerned Investigating Officer.

Needless to say, the petitioner is at liberty to approach this Court in case any grievance remains in the future. Pending application also stands disposed of.
