Petitioners in Crl.M.C.1714/2018 seek quashing of FIR No.1083/2014 under Sections 323/506/509/34 IPC, Police Station Janak Puri , based on a Settlement.

Petitioners in W.P.(Crl.) No.994/2018 seek quashing of FIR No.798/2014 under Section 354 IPC, Police Station Janak Puri, based on a Settlement.

Petitioners in W.P.(Crl.) No.995/2018 seek quashing of FIR No.1084/2014 under Sections 354/509/506/323/34 IPC, Police Station Janak Puri, based on a Settlement.

Parties are neighbours and cross-FIRs have been registered on account of some misunderstanding between the parties. With the intervention of the respectable elder members of the locality, the parties have amicably settled their disputes. 5.

Parties are present in Court in person, also represented by respective counsel and identified by the Investigating Officer. They

confirm that they have arrived at a Settlement with a view to maintain peace and harmony in the locality and further submit that they do not wish to press their complaint against each other any further. 6.

In view of the above and keeping in view of the fact that the parties have resolved their disputes with the intervention of respectable members of the Society with a view to restore peace and harmony between them and Settlement has been arrived at between the parties, and further they do not wish to press charges against each other, continuation of criminal proceedings will be an exercise in futility and justice in the case demands that the dispute between the parties is put to an end and peace is restored; securing the ends of justice being the ultimate guiding factor. It would be expedient to quash the subject FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom.

Accordingly, FIR No.1083/2014 under Sections 323/506/509/34 IPC, FIR No.798/2014 under Section 354 IPC and FIR No.1084 /2014 under Sections 354/509/506/323/34 IPC and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are hereby quashed. 8.
