This is a petition filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitrator by a further period of 6 months to make and publish the final Award.

Mr. Sinha, learned counsel for the petitioner, states that there were some personal difficulties of the counsel representing the claimant and hence, the delay.

For the said reasons, issue notice.

Mr. Hildreth, learned counsel, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and has no objection to the petition being allowed. 5.

I am of the view that sufficient cause has been explained for the delay. 6.

For the said reasons, the petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitrator is extended by a period of 6 months from today. 7.

The period from 09.11.2025 till today stands regularised. 8.
