The present petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking that the respondent/ Central Information Commission (CIC) be directed to take up, hear, and decide the petitioner's second appeal within a time-bound manner. 2.

This Court is not inclined to issue any pre-emptory directions to the CIC for fixing any timeline for hearing. It shall be for the CIC to regulate its own calendar.

The petition is accordingly dismissed. However, it shall be open for the petitioner to move an appropriate application in case it is desirous of seeking early hearing. The same shall necessarily be considered by the CIC in accordance with law and on its own merits.
