Petitioner seeks regular bail in FIR No. 577/2019 under Sections 376/506/354 IPC and Section 10 of Protection of Children From Sexual Offence (POCSO) Act, 2012, registered at PS Mehrauli. 2.

The present petition has been filed under the agies of Delhi High Court Legal Services Committee (DHCLSC).

Learned APP for State, on instructions, however, submits that the trial is already over and the case is now fixed for recording of statement of the accused. 4.

In view of the abovesaid peculiar development that the trial is over and the case is now ripe for disposal, the present application is disposed of with direction to learned Trial Court to dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within three months from the date it takes up the case on the next date of hearing.

Needless to say, if the accused is desirous of leading evidence in defence, due opportunity would be given to him.
